Externally Post-Tensioned Deployable Timber Structures

CFTS Reseach Pavilion 2017

The second CFTS Research Pavilion developed a new type of deployable timber structure, which uses an external post-tensioning deployment mechansism and a hybrid steel-timber structural component. The structure has been used at five (public and private) events around UQ and Brisbane.

Project Stats: Build time: 4 weeks. Material: LVL and Stainless steel.
